Homemade Creole Seasoning
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp paprika (smoked or regular)
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp white pepper (optional, for extra depth)
- 2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp celery salt (optional)
Instructions:
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
This seasoning works great on shrimp, chicken, fish, gumbo, jambalaya, and even roasted vegetables.
