How silly of you flyingbayou, as an "independent" BCS is going to attack your sources of information. He leans more to the voices of popular "independents" in the media such as Keith Olbermann, Frankel and Maureen Dowd.
Eugene Robinson, a liberal writer in todays Picayune, pretty much got it right but came to the wrong conclusion, which happens a lot with liberals. Professors at Harvard or any other top university tend to be arrogant, entitled ass****s with tenure. I would have accepted Robinson's bet this morning, that if the professor had been white, it would not have happened. I actually think this particular officer would not have taken a berating from one of these superior, arrogant clowns, regardless of color whereas another officer might have. I sent one Son to Emory and another to Washington U. in St Louis and had the pleasure of running into people such as Gates, he is not unique in any color.

I am really not sure who this badly formulated, incoherent, poorly spelled post was aimed at. If perhaps it was me, I have met many arrogant but few entitled cops, I have never lost an election(actually never entered one) and I am not sure who the moose lady is.

I don't want to hijack this thread but I am still amazed how much hatred there is for Palin. I would venture to say she ranks right at the top of the liberal's "conservatives we would love to see dead!" list, right along with Bush and Limbaugh. Although, calling Bush a conservative is a stretch.
